By participating in the Buddy Walk, you will help make a difference
in
the lives of individuals with Down syndrome. Each step you take and
each dollar you raise will help the Connecticut Down Syndrome
Congress
provide the important services that enhance the quality of life for
individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
Families
may join our Honorary Chair Sonia
Baghdady,
Emmy-award winning anchor for News Channel 8 at 5 pm in the opening
lap of the walk. Sonia Baghdady has earned an Emmy Award in Outstanding
Achievement in Soft News Series and was recognized by the New Haven
Business Times as one of the 20 Noteworthy Women in the community.
